CARRIAGES
Carriage wheels Black Rose manufacture a unique type of metal carriage wheels.  Two styles are supplied one for larger vehicles 30” to 50” and a smaller lighter type for small vehicles 18” to 32”.   The designed incorporates a one piece cast aluminium nave with an integral steel bush, bored to take the 59 mm OD Timken bearing cups.  The spoke sockets are bored (for from 8 to 16 spokes) allowing the ends to butt onto the steel bush.   A full diameter axle is provided with large size inner and outer Timken bearing cones to carry the bearing load.  Full circle RHS for the rims and 1.5” x 3mm channels to carry the rubber tyres.   The wheels are made to order to allow for the purchaser to have the size and number of spokes they desire for their application.
